Please be ready to shuttle at 10:00 (Lois Time).
Bring your smiling face and adventurous attitude.
This trip on the Pine River will go from Elm Flats to Peterson Bridge. Each car will need to have a vehicle permit ($5 per day if you don‘t have an annual pass - pay at the parking areas). No watercraft permits are needed before Memorial Day weekend.
We will meet in the morning, do the shuttle and then head downstream. There will be a break for lunch at Dobson Bridge. Paddling time should be about 5 hours.

Given the possibility of tight turns, obstructions, and maneuvering through riffles, you will need to be able to move your boat sideways and place it anywhere on the river. If you are not sure that you have the skills to paddle the Pine, call the trip host to talk about it. Hopefully it should be a nice trip through the little rapids that await us during the trip. There are good opportunities for wildlife sightings, and some wildflowers along the river banks.
