Jordan River - New DNR Site At Old State Rd Bridge
On Monday afternoon, Tracie, Glenn and I went to East Jordan to see the
new plans for this facility and to talk to the planning commission to
let them know what we are concerned about.
The DNR people were courteous and listened to what we had to say
but were not always in agreement with what we suggested.
The good news is a vault toilet and trash cans are in the plan.
The bad news is that this looks like it is more for fishing boats than paddle craft.
We will see what they finally decide how to do the project.
Here are a few photos of the proposed facility which will be
on the south West side of the bridge and about .1 mile away.
