This trip will go from Dobson Bridge to Low Bridge.  We particularly welcome those folks who helped with Pine River cleanups this season.

Each car will need to have a vehicle permit ($5 per day if you don't have an annual pass - pay at the parking areas).  Watercraft permits are not needed after Labor Day.

There will be a break for lunch at Peterson.  Paddling time should be about 4 to 5 hours.

Given the possibility of tight turns, obstructions, and maneuvering through riffles, you will need to be able to move your boat sideways and place it anywhere on the river.  If you are not sure that you have the skills to paddle the Pine, call Lois and John to talk about it.
Hopefully it should be a nice trip through the little rapids that await us during the trip.  There are good opportunities for wildlife sightings, and some wildflowers along the river banks.
