This will be an open water paddle along the shore of East Grand Traverse Bay. At the turn-around point, we plan to get out and explore the Petobego State Game Area, which was recently deeded to the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy. Actually, most of the shoreline is public land, so we can pull over almost anywhere. Bring a kayak that's at least 12 feet long. We can go out for lunch afterwards, or have a picnic at the shelter in Sayler Park.
