The Antrim Conservation District requested that the BRCS postpone its cleanup until later in the summer so they can get a grant to do this cleanup which the BRCS is 100% willing to help them do. Therefore, this trip will be rescheduled for July 28 when we learn of their plan. Hopefully, this will allow them to get some local volunteers and in that way we can do a better job of cleaning up the river than we have in the past.

In years past, we have cleaned sections of the Jordan until we got tired or it rained. I have always felt like we didn't finish the job when we did it that way.
This year, I am going to try to do a two group Clean Sweep project at which one group cleans from Graves Xing to Webster and one group cleans from Webster to Rogers Rd.
If we don't have enough people for this ambitious project, then we will clean from Graves Xing to Webster Bridge Landing.
