July 18 Boardman from BBL to Beitner

We ran the shuttle at 9 AM, and were glad that we got out early. At both Beitner and Brown Bridge Landing, there were throngs of people, including a 20 person fly fishing class. It was a first time trip for George & Sharon, but for the rest of us, namely John & Lois, Susan & Gerald and Pam & Harold, it was "old hat". There were two breaks, at the island and at Shumsky. Noteworthy: we all used to live in the Chicago area and most have been friends for over 40 years.
A lovely summer weekend morning on our home town river; we are lucky to live here!
