Brown Bridge to River Pitch

It was a busy day on the river.



Ann Riechert led a small group from River Pitch to Shumsky and I led a
larger group from Brown Bridge to River Pitch.  It was the last of the
Upper Boardman River Clean Sweep events for 2021.




We had Mitchell Treadwell with us so I took the opportunity to present the
BRCS' STROKES OF ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
to him at the putin.

We first thought the river was pretty clean but we started to find more and
more trash and at the takeout all our boats were full of litter.

We took some large, heavy stuff out to day and we feel good about that.

for his kind and generous offer to let us use the River Pitch property for
our putin and takeout location.  The use of this property made it possible for
us to have two crews working and we took twice as much litter out
of the river because of it.  Brick Wheels is a long time supporter of the BRCS.
