King Marvin Puska Coronation

Today, while joined to do a cleanup on the Betsie River,  we were finally
able to do this ceremony that had been cancelled for over a year due to
the Covid-19 epidemic.

Even though Marvin Puska doesn't paddle much anymore due to an injury,
he has been driving our shuttles selflessly for several years.

I wanted to do something to let him know how much we appreciate his efforts on
our behalf so I decided to give him the honor that he so richly deserves.

Today, I made him the

KING OF THE SHUTTLE DRIVERS

with a Declaration and Crown.

The declaration is this:

We are so happy to finally be able to deliver this much deserved award.

Marvin has been a member of the TAPC from the beginning and stepped up
every time he was asked to make a sacrifice to the club.  He has been a pillar
of strength and leadership for us and now, even though he doesn't paddle
himself due to an accident, he still contributes by running shuttles and
doing what he needs to to help us enjoy our local waters and each other.

SO:

THANK YOU TO KING MARV - THE KING OF THE SHUTTLE DRIVERS!

Respectfully submitted:

Norm Fred
