August 4 - Middle Little Manistee

Everyone met at the Corner Express, about 20 minutes early.  Thanks to Marv, we launched earlier than planned, just upstream from Driftwood Valley Campground.  The trip was not dull, and in fact, at the end, I remarked, "Oh, we're done already?"
People: John & me (Lois), Marlene, Bob M, Jane from Lansing, Tracie, Jacqui, Gail and Linda P
Obstacles: a few, including a portage or three, some lumberjacking, some pulling boats over or under downed trees.  Some swimming, for fun and once when the big guy got stuck on a log.  Lots of helping each other.
A rope swing!
No complaining!
Mosquitoes were bad.
Weather was great, people were wonderful!
