July 18 South Branch of the AuSable

A beautiful day, but the water level was a bit low due to our lack of rain this summer. We were tired; it was a long trip.  It took an hour longer than we had anticipated, due to the low water.  But the river was gorgeous, and it was fun to get to know some new members.  It was also wonderful to have Gracie along, since we have been taking her paddling since she was 6 - she just finished her first year of college.
