June 21 Brown Bridge to Beitner on the Boardman

"We did good today."

No, that is not a grammatical error. We all (Bob F, Mike and Barb, Dean and Diane, Jocelyn) did indeed do GOOD as the following photos illustrate ... even though we had simply set out for a leisurely paddle on a lovely afternoon. Lots of sawyering. Cuts in three places removed this fallen tree.

Barb is always ready with a smile.


Log sections had to be encouraged to find a better and hopefully final resting spot.


The Core's flag seems smaller this year.

Mike cleans up a "mother lode" which included many glass bottles, cans, and wet
clothes.


And here is the challenge we could not meet. Some slightly-built expert tree climber
had put cans way high up in this tree totally out of reach unless we cut it down.
