June 21 Summer Solstice Main AuSable

Trip participants: Lois, Marlene (thanks to Marv for the shuttle), Linda Farmer (who used Lois' kayak, since hers is still on order), Gail Hastings, Danny Pinegar and Janeen Russell. I spent a lot of time teaching Janeen how to do ferries at the beginning of the trip, and later, Gail led her down the river, with Marlene available to supervise from the back. Saw lots of wildlife, a couple of fishermen, and two of three groups of other paddlers. Lovely weather!
