July 2, Boardman, Forks to Schecks

Max sheltering from the off-and-on rain. He slept all the way from Schecks to Brown Bridge take out. 


Stretch through the old pond where poplar forests are taking hold voluntarily. Mike and Barb, Pam, Harold, Bob.


Of course, there were Mergansers. And, not captured, a muskrat with a leafy sprig on one side of the river -- he dove, leaves and all, and swam under us to the other side.
