Traverse Area Paddle Club
High (220 cfs), fast (2:45 hrs) & fun Sturgeon Thrillseeker from Wolverine to Fisher Woods with Jocelyn & Max on 4th try. No downed trees or shallow gravel bars, but lots of current on the tight, turny, twisty bends. Glad we have no shoulder issues since Mr Eddy tried to pull us into his grasp many times. We did get to do a few bunny hops over logs in the river, which will be more exposed as the water level drops. One of my 2 favorite paddles, along with the Pine. By Sara Cockrell
