Roseanne & Jocelyn joined me on my Sturgeon Thrillseeker paddle from Wolverine to Fisher Woods today & still my favorite fast, turny, twisty river! No gravel bars since high at 210 cfs, but Mr Eddy tried to snag unsuspecting paddlers. Fall was in the air with some color in the trees too, so a sensory overload. No obstacles, though I cleared some low-hanging branches tangled in grapevine that snagged my PFD. Warm & sunny with a cool breeze, so perfect paddling weather for 3 BFF!
