We had to postpone this trip from the previous weekend due to crummy weather, and are we ever glad we did! It was a perfect fall color day - cool in the morning, but sunshine and wispy clouds all day. Six of us were on the trip: Jocelyn Trepte, Carol Towar, Henry Eckhardt, John Lombardi, Lois Goldstein and John Heiam. We launched at 10:15, took a nice 45 minute lunch break and later another short break just to stretch , and were off the river by 3:30. Saw only a few other people, including several on the adjacent hiking trail.
