About this event

Get to know the Traverse Area Paddle Club and learn paddle basics on Sunday, June 22, at 1:00 pm. Basic instruction followed by an hour on the water to practice basic paddle strokes. Chat, ask questions, try out members boats and afterwards. Bring your own boat or let us know if you need to borrow from one of our members. Free but advance registration is required.

Paddling is safer, easier and more enjoyable with a group of friends that share an interest in the outdoors. TPAC volunteers host paddles throughout the season on area lakes and rivers including the Boardman, Platte, Betsie, Manistee, Pine, Pere Marquette, AuSable and Jordan.
