Benzie Conservation District
We'll meet at 9:00am at the Homestead Dam Landing in Benvonia
Come out and help us maintain this much fished river.
It is famous for the amount of fishing gear in the trees over the river.
There are two sections.
One has fast current and a lot of fishing lines and hooks on the trees.
That section is for advanced paddlers only.
The other section is not as loaded with fishing trash and is slower and easier.
It can be done by less advanced paddlers.
We'll sort all that out when we get there.
It's a tough little river to clean but one that will improve your skills
and give you a lot of satisfaction.
Special tools and safety equipment will be made available for your use.
