Trip Reports

We were so fast today that we almost did a 2nd trip! It's been cleared of obstacles so much that I can barely justify a 2 hr drive there! But, beautiful cedar tunnel, lots of tight turns around logjams & many riffles, so great fun with Jack, Rick, Glenn, Angie & John. 3 We-no-nah solo canoes today, Jack's Argosy, Rick's Vagabond & my Sandpiper. Since the river is slightly high for this time of year, at 217 cfs, the gravel bars were well covered so no challenge. With a plentiful 20-minute lunch break, we still finished by 2PM, in 3:15 hrs, so home before rush hour on a gorgeous summery day!
