Sept 10 - Jordan finally conquered

After having to cancel two weeks ago, the rescheduled trip was also nearly called off, but careful watching of the weather from several online sources plus radar tracking gave the trip leader the guts to "go for it". Weather turned out to be great. Paddle was relaxing, lunch spot right after going through the tubes was comfortable, with a fallen log that served as a bench for a couple of the group. A rest break and bathroom stop was made at Webster Rd. All arrived safely at the Rogers Rd take out. A few of us repaired to Short's in Bellaire for a post paddle repast and a local libation or two.
