Nobody wimped out because of the morning rain and an ominous forecast. In fact, when I got to Smith Bridge at 9:30am, everybody was already there readying their gear. After a quick shuttle by Paddle Brave we set out under brightening skies and no rain. The weather got better as we paddled up toward the Mainstream and made our way to Conners Flats into a slight headwind. After lunch we cruised the last section past Rainbow Bend to the McMasters Bridge Landing.
It's a longish drive from TC so kudos to Jocelyn, Maxi, Tracie, John, Angie, and Marilyn for making the trip under uncertain conditions.
