About this event

The Sturgeon is a MESS!   There is an incredible amount of trash up there.  It really needs our help.

Some people talk about not doing cleanups on some rivers because they don't  "take ownership" of that particular river and they don't think they need to spend their efforts there.

Well, we all have taken "ownership" of the Sturgeon.   We owe it to this river to come and help clean it up.

The Sturgeon is just too far away and too dirty to clean more than one section in one day.

But to run 2 or 3 trips up there to clean it is just more than I am willing to do. Too many miles, too many people, too many shuttles.

Let's go up there one time, set our fun aside and do a full cleanup in sections like we do the Boardman Clean Sweep and, as Mark Miltner of the PRPC says, "get 'er done".

I have the shuttle plan all set with the livery people at Henley's.  No double shuttles.
Your car will be where you take out no matter which section you do.

No problem with garbage removal.  It's all set. And I will even buy everyone a cold drink at the Meadows when we're done.

I need 12 people to do it.  More would be great!

Bring a friend.  Bring as many as you want, no need to be a member.  Just make sure they have some experience on a faster river.  No beginners.  I don't want problems or have to do rescues.

Let's do this!
