The Betsie paddle on the 23 rd was perfect. We owned the river until the last half hour, and then we had to share it. We had perfect weather, no wind, just sun and great company. Brand new spring leaves, smells and colors. We stopped for a short lunch. There was already someone with a saw that cleared the way so we had only one portage, how perfect. Thanks to the Lassers for helping me lead my first paddle! I am looking forward to the summer.
