October 17 Annual Meeting and Dinner at the Cottage Cafe

The evening started with a social hour, followed by a delicious buffet prepared by the Cottage Cafe, folllowed by a short meeting. An official report of the meeting can be found under meeting minutes elsewhere on this website. What follows are some photos taken John Heiam during the evening.
VAl & Mark Miltner were our guests for the evening.
Angie got an award as the Club Botanist
Dawn got an award for having the Best Disposition after capsizing four times!
Tracy got an award for being an inspiration - overcoming health issues.
Jocelyn got an award for being a great dual tasker because of her ability to paddle and talk on the phone at the same time.
Karen got an award for the best kayak ballet (getting over a log without getting wet)
Maureen got an award for always being at the front of the group even though she has a short boat.
Ian gets his award for wearing shorts when the rest of us are bundled up in fleece.
Fred gets his award for never getting his feet wet when entering or exiting his boat.
