The Main Branch of the AuSable is suitable for all abilities. Come join co-hosts Jackie & Tracie for a relaxing float.  We will meander along enjoying the sounds of nature, maybe spot some wildlife & flowers, then pick out a site for a snack & rest stop, probably at the Stephan Bridge access.  Bring something to sit on & pack a picnic snack.  After a short rest, we'll continue at a pace comfortable for the group to the take out at Wakeley Bridge.  Here's a map: http://penrodscanoe.com/canoe-kayak-trips/

This trip is a perfect intro to river paddling, and should be a fun experience for canoeists and kayakers of all abilities.  We will travel about 10 miles on the river, and actual paddling time is about 3 hours.  But it may be a bit longer depending on how much time we spend at our lunch break and any possible swim breaks.  There is some current but it is easily managed by novice paddlers.
