Pearl Lake is protected by The Grand Traverse Regional
Land Conservancy, owned by the State of Michigan and managed by
Michigan Department of Natural Resources. The lake is home to
many waterfowl, birds, plants & animals. The Pearl Lake property
is also part of a larger state-owned forest that can be accessed and
explored on foot or via rugged dirt roads.

Meet: The meeting point for the tour is the DNR
Public Access Site on the NW corner of Pearl Lake on Wagner Road.
Shuttling will not be necessary as the tour will begin and end at the
same place.

Bring: Canoe or kayak, paddles, life jackets,
binoculars (optional), appropriate clothing for weather conditions,
water & snack, if wanted.
