We are posting this trip to make up for not being able to paddle the Boardman this past Saturday.  The water level and discharge will hopefully return to normal levels, so we should be able to see whatever debris exists (we hope there won't be much).  This way we can actually pick stuff up, and can still run a safe trip.

Note: we plan to launch at 1:15.  Bring your usual paddling gear and a grabber stick.  If you don't own one, I have a couple of extras - let me know if you need to borrow one.  Don't forget ropes for the bow and stern of your boat.  I will bring a few big trash bags; please bring some small ones.

Boardman (Brown Bridge Landing)

Take Garfield Road south of Traverse City to River Road. Turn left (east) and drive about 1/4 mile. You will cross Arbutus Hill Road, and then the river itself. Turn left into the TC Light and Power parking lot. If you run out of blacktop, you went about 50 yards too far. Drive down the path 100 yards to access the river.
