No need to leave town to paddle a lovely stream!  You will marvel at the remote feeling you get without driving very far from home.  During the last part of the trip we'll pass through the newly formed river that is now free-flowing, since Brown Bridge Dam was dismantled in 2012.  If you haven't yet been through that area, you are in for a real treat!  Mother Nature will provide some nice fall colors.

Paddling time should be about 3 hours, with a short break midway.  Afterwards we can go out for lunch.

There will likely be several fun riffles along the way.  The current is quick, but the river is wide enough to be easily negotiated by adventurous beginners.  It's a good place to practice maneuvering in current and practicing those back ferries!
