Attendees pay for their own charges
There is space available to join our conservation specialist and other local kayakers and canoeists in exploring the Upper Platte River. This will be our final water tour of the year.

What is a water tour? A water tour is a guided tour of a body of water. Our conservation specialist will lead participants in exploring the Upper Platte River.  Did you know that the Platte is the source of all Coho salmon for the Great Lakes?  We will cover the importance of the Platte from a fisheries point of view.  Stream monitoring and the importance of woody debris in stream function will also be discussed.  A beautiful paddle.

What do I need to participate? If you have a canoe or kayak, please bring it. If you don't have one, please contact us soon and we will most likely be able to find you one to use. Same thing with a life jacket/PFD. Please dress for the weather and bring some water to drink.

What kind of experience do I need? Beginners welcome!
$5-$10 suggested donation.
