September 6, 2014 - South Branch AuSable River Cleanup
8:30 at Chase Bridge
We will only paddle HALF the river.
We will meet at Chase Bridge and caravan to the Castle where we will drop
our boats and run the shuttle to Smith Bridge.

Back in July, we found a 7 docks in the river for the first time.
It turned out to be more like 9 and some pieces of construction lumber, too.
We took care of that on August 26, 2014.
They are now all dismantled and we can relax and just do a regular cleanup
like we always do.
The Anglers of the AuSable from Gates Lodge will take care of the lumber.
It will be nice to just look for cans and bottles for a change and leave
the saw and pry bars at home.
The weather for Saturday looks perfect.
PLUS!!!!!
There will be a picnic at the Gate Lodge for us to enjoy when we are done.
